Hi Chris,

I love those events. I really like all the loggings events. They way they can have a log roll contest or a climbing contest.

Thay are all cool to me. Being from Michigan, I miss those events.

Have a swell day today.

Best, Clint McKie

That sounds like a lot of fun, Chris.  There is a place around Staunton, VA where different farming communities are set up from Europe.  Each one is an active full blown farm.  They are designed to teach what it was like to live in different places in the 1600-1800s.  Very cool.  It sounds a lot like your festival.

I wish we could be there for the celebrations.

Mike, I am sure Helen and I visited that pioneer village when we stayed at Massanuten VA.  It had farms from the countries of the people that originally settled the region, one was Irish, one was English, one was German, and I think the last was Dutch... we loved that place

Valerie, we rarely visit TO anymore, but love visiting the many fairs of the smaller towns from Kitchener-Waterloo to Lindsay

I will try Roy.  A lot of these happen on weekends, which I tend to work, so it is my wife and son who benefit from most of these.  I will join them some of the time.

Chris, I enjoy going to the smaller festivals where it is a leisurely stroll to the displays and activities rather than being herded from one place to another. The Bond Head Festival sounds like FUN for everyone!
