Chris' Corner: 2011 Beeton Santa Claus Parade

2011 Beeton Santa Claus Parade

Beeton Santa Claus Parade

If you missed Alliston's Night Lit Santa Claus Parade and/or Tottenham's Santa Claus Parade, or just want a fun-filled family day, your last chance to be part of a Santa Claus Parade in New Tecumseth will be in Beeton on Saturday December, 10th.

Starting in Jackson's Plaza at 10:00 a.m., this parade will travel west on Main St. Floats, Miniature Horses, Reindeer and the Jolly Old Man himself will all be part of the parade and festivities

After the parade, a meet and greet with Santa and live Reindeer (out front) will be held at the D.A. Jones Library at 42 Main Street.

Frolicking and Festivities for the entire family will continue throughout the day and culminate with Beeton's Festival of Lights at 6:00 p.m. on the Northeast corner of Centre and Main Streets.

Chris: What a fun event, everyone loves parades, especially a Christmas parade. We also will have our Christmas Parade here at Canyon Lake TX tomorrow. However, we won't have snow, maybe just a light rain drizzle and Santa will arrive in a Stage Coach.

Hi Chris,

All you need is a little snow and your all set.

It sounds like a great day for the kids. Me though, I would'nt go and see Santa, he has been loosing my letters since I was ten. Not very good at reading I guess. LOL

Have a great day in Beeton.

Best, Clint McKie

Chris, I like the date for this Santa Claus parade, I think Dec. 10 is just about right. In my opinion most places have their parades way too early, and it really smacks of commercialism by tring to force people into the Christmas season a bit too early. December 10 sounds right on the money to me. I hope the Beeton parade goes well.

Our big parade is the day of the Holiday Bowl, December 28 this year. It used to be just before Christmas but it seems all the bowls want to be on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day so they're all moving that way.

C&C, hope your parade went well

Thank you for the reminder Marc

You too, Keith

All the best to you too Clint

Malcolm, I agree with you.  I thought the Alliston and Tottenham parades were a little early, this one was not as large, but more timely

Interesting Russel, to have a Christmas Parade after Christmas
