Natural Resources Canada says that just one under inflated tire can reduce your mileage by as much as FOUR PERCENT!!!
Keeping your tires properly inflated (following the automobile manufacturers guidelines located on the side of the driver's door and also in the automotive handbook) will help save our planet by wasting less of our precious resources, causing less pollution, help your car handle better while driving and braking, and will help save you some money!
Check your tire pressure regularly, before you drive (when the tires are cold).

If you spend just $25 dollars a week, just one under inflated tire could cost you almost $50/yr in extra fuel and premature wear of your tires.

Good money-saving advice Chris! Thank you for that.
Wanda, keeping your tires inflated is such an easy way to save money, and the environment
Chris - Living and working in the country means a lot of miles on the car and burning a lot of fuel ..... we can drive 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour to show a single property and can often put on 60 to a 100K to show several country properties in a day ..... while I would not think of giving up living in the country there are times when I think it would be nice if I worked in a 5 or 10k block
Hi Chris~ I'm lucky to have a car that lets me know when my tire pressure is low!
Great information on safety and gas conservation!
