Paying it forward is so easy...
I got a call yesterday from a person who had just sold her home and needed to find a home in Tottenham or Beeton. One of the homes she wanted to see was tenanted and we required 24 hours notice to make the appointment. She asked me what other homes were available in the $250K to $350K price range that might offer her the best combination of value and privacy with a pool being a real plus.
I introduced her to some Tottenham properties this morning and had finished early, about 12:30 p.m. I had a few hours to kill before we could see the Beeton properties. She wanted to visit a friend and asked if I could meet her there at 3:00 p.m. and gave me her friends address and phone number.
I remembered about the Dine and Donate at MMEA and called a friend and asked if she wanted to join me for a veal or chicken parmigiana sandwich and she said sure. That was good enough for me. I picked her up at home and stopped by MMEA Restaurant and Catering and I bought two lunches. The fact that all money raised was being donated to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation was just a very nice "plus".
We both enjoyed our lunch on this beautiful sunny warm day. Though her family had lived in the area (Just north of Alliston) for thirty years, she had never eaten there.
I dropped her home and picked up my client at her friends just after 3:00 p.m.
We saw the homes that were in her range in Beeton and one just out of town. Discussing the day, she felt she found three very different homes that each had a certain appeal. She will discuss these homes with her husband and we will choose our best course of action.
