Simcoe County has a two-stream Blue Box Program. Paper / Paper Fibres are to be sorted and placed in a gray or blue box and containers are to be placed in a separate Blue Box.
Acceptable Containers for the Blue Box for "Containers" are:

- Aluminum Plates & Foil
- Spiral-Wound Containers (frozen juice, dough, some chips & nuts,
hot chocolate and Iced Tea)
- Empty Aerosol Cans (shaving cream, hair spray & mousse, non-stick
spray & paint)
- Gable Top Containers (milk & juice cartons)
- Tetra-Pak Containers (drinking boxes, broth & wine boxes)
