Victoria Street Alliston circa 1989

Randy Greenman, owner/operator of Wray's Guardian Pharmacy (33 Victoria Street West) shared this video (converted from 8mm) of a drive down Victoria Street in Alliston circa 1989.  This predates my first visit to the town, in the early to mid-nineties to play in a Dart Tournament held at the Legion during Alliston's Annual Potato Festival.  I love these little blasts from the past, hope you do, too.

Many of the businesses have changed over the years, but there is a striking resemblance to present day Alliston.  I will try and re-create and share my version of Randy's stroll, circa 2013, in the next little while.
